Student Privacy Policy

BoardMerit takes student privacy with the highest degree of seriousness. We design our systems to collect the bare minimum information necessary to provide educational evaluation.

Information We Collect: When you take a test, we collect your email address and optional phone number solely to send authentication One-Time Passwords (OTPs) and securely associate your test history and diagnostic reports with your student profile.

How We Use Information: Your contact details are used exclusively for authentication, quiz progress retrieval, and transactional account notices. We never sell, rent, or license student personal information to third-party ad networks, telemarketers, or commercial lenders.

Data Storage & Security: All authentication credentials and attempt histories are encrypted in transit via TLS and securely stored in encrypted relational databases hosted with enterprise-grade cloud providers.

Cookies & Analytics: We use first-party session identifiers strictly to preserve your quiz state and prevent quota abuse. We do not engage in invasive behavioral cross-site tracking.
